Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bronx follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Drew Gardens is a lovely community garden space along the Bronx River. I had the opportunity recently to take part in a pruning class that was offered at Drew Gardens in conjunction with NYBG for the Green Up program's community pruning coarse. The garden is located on East Tremont Avenue in the West Farms neighborhood of the Bronx besides being a beautiful location with a great view of the river and awesome plants. I met many great people and had alot of fun.

What an amazing hidden gem in the Bronx! I discovered this place today and took a walk through it β exactly what I needed. It's peaceful, beautifully maintained, and the garden is just peaceful. You can really feel the care that goes into keeping it so serene and welcoming. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a moment of calm and connection with nature. Iβll definitely be spending more time here, relaxing and grounding.

I volunteered here last year with my school and would not stop thinking about this place, so I came back to volunteer again. Drew Gardens is one of the largest community garden in the Bronx, which is so so so important. We need to sustain places like these. Once you step inside, it feels like youβre teleported to another universe, your mind calms down upon seeing the greenery & natural life. Thank you to Mario, Julio & Ivette who were able to guide us around the garden. I left with so much knowledge about the rich history of the place, and the importance of keeping places like these alive. I have soo many positive words regarding my experience, I highly recommend you to go there at least once youβll want to keep coming back!
